
Yara Mutola is a Project Manager and International Relations & Diplomacy professional with experience in economic diplomacy, international cooperation, and market systems development. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Mozambique–Netherlands Chamber of Commerce, where she oversees institutional engagement, trade facilitation initiatives, and the development of strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors, contributing to stronger bilateral economic relations.
Yara joined the Chamber in 2022 as a volunteer, gaining valuable exposure to the business ecosystem and international cooperation landscape, which paved the way for her current leadership role. Her work focuses on international trade, market access, and the coordination of trade missions and high-level business engagements, working closely with embassies, business associations, private companies, SMEs, NGOs, and development partners.
With a background in International Relations and Diplomacy and ongoing Master’s studies in International Trade and Finance, Yara brings together academic insight and practical experience in economic diplomacy and international cooperation. She has represented Mozambique in international forums and competitions, where her advocacy and public speaking have been widely recognised.
