Role: President Netherlands

After supporting the setting up of the CCNM, Ivo was elected President for the Netherlands team of the Chamber in 2022.

Ivo Weiler is a Dutch National with more than 20 years of professional history in Mozambique. He holds a Civil Engineering Masters from Delft (Netherlands) and an MBA from the University of Cape Town (SA).
With this background, Ivo has been active in engineering, project management, business development and entrepreneurship. He has set up successful businesses in Mozambique, such as Mozambican water engineering company Salomon Lda. He created and managed the infrastructure engineering team for Rio Tinto Coal Mozambique in Tete, after which he represented the Dutch offshore contractor HMC in Mozambique for the EPCI projects in Cabo Delgado.
For Ivo, economics is a social science that is about people. He is always looking to bring people together in setting up business partnerships that work best for people and planet in the local context.
